if you wished you had a friend with a nice home to stay at in the city for a few days, this is the feeling you get in this hotel. Location couldn’t be better, away from the “dark” side of the city steps away from the bright Union sq. If shootist your thing all major luxury brands are less than five minutes away. Super comfortable, clean and modern with the warmest staff. Maria at the front desk told us all the good spots to see and the restaurants we should visit in 5 min without even asking! Safe private garage literally a few meters away if you have a vehicle. We stayed in suite 904 which is highly recommended. Spacious and bright. The polished concrete floor, the modern rugs and the minimal decor made the suite look double the size. Every single day we said a hundred times how lucky we were to book here because I had a worry with all the crazy stories I ve heard about “dangerous homeless people”. I was looking for a hotel at the fisherman’s wharf area which is sublime but after sunset when the tourists go it’s empty so you need a cab ride to downtown. Super happy with the location. Super safe.

Loved the location to everything. While parking is parking… In SF you will ALWAYS pay for parking. it was nice to have basically valet there. The gentleman that took our keys, handed them over to someone else and grabbed a cart and began to get our bags on to it. He was kind and shared the do’s and do nots in the area. He was informative about the area in all aspects. Went to a restaurant he recommended and we were good with it. We were there for a concert and it was right around the corner. Room was a cute vintage modern blend. Hubby loved the water pressure from the shower. A number of reviews didn’t care for it. Bed was Very comfortable. I always appreciate the noon check out and staff was very kind

This hotel is ok. It’s close to my office and next to the St Francis where I was able to valet park my car. You have to get a ticket from the front desk and bring it back to the valet. Prices in SF are ridiculous during any conferences, which there happens to be one during my stay. So for the price, I think this hotel was not worth it. It’s outdated and very basic. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. I only stayed one night and didn’t have a chance to eat breakfast so I can’t speak on that. Over all it was an ok stay. If I paid this myself, I wouldnt stay unless I had no choice during conference times. Location was good and close to everything i needed

Union Square is our preferred area to stay in SF and the night we arrived, the homeless situation seemed to be more in check. We had been warned that it had gotten much worse recently so we were pleasantly surprised (for a minute). Thus hotel is a block off Powell. The lobby isn't much to look at but the staff were very friendly. We received a room upgrade upon arrival b/c we booked via booking.com and two complimentary waters.

Reception allowed to check-in early (my flight arrived at 6 am and I was at the hotel at 7am), which was great considering the night travel and that it pouring rain outside. Reception clerk was very useful with information on a good spot for breakfast nearby and how to purchase bus / cable car tickets. Gym is very well equiped.
